Somebody once asked me, "Hey, why don't you put together a glossary?" So here it is. My original focus was comic-book-fanfic terms; however, I've left that fandom and I want to make this THE most complete glossary in fanficdom...

Submissions: I'm seeking acronyms and terms in general use either within genres or crossgenre -- anything a visitor to your fandom would need to know. Contribute! Please provide the term, any abbreviations or alternate spellings, which ficdom it comes from, and (if applicable), what fandom it started in.
