1) Obi-Wan is the young Ewan McGregor version as opposed to the old Sir Alec Guinness version. 2) Your original character suspiciously resembles your own appearance. 3) She has an intricate, difficult-to-pronounce and difficult-to-spell name (Eryllia, Tanilea) or a name inspired by a popular song (Aida); or her name is a derivative of yours or of your screen name. 4) She's a heretofore unsuspected Force-sensitive who needs Obi-Wan's training. 5) She's a rich, but lonely, princess of a planet. 6) Obi-Wan (or possibly both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon) are sent on a mission to protect your character from harm. 7) Your character refers to Obi-Wan as 'Obi', or 'Obi-Baby'. 8) Obi-Wan is straight, of course! (Not even a hint of implication of any type of love for his master other than filial devotion.) 9) The infamous Anywhere But Here. You transport Obi-Wan (and sometimes Qui-Gon) to Earth with little or no explanation; better still, they fit in as naturally as if they were born here, taking to the technology, American style clothes, food, sports, and so forth, like natives. They like the same kind of entertainment you do, and even talk like you do. No language barrier here! 9b) Corollary: the "you" in the story shares every characteristic with the way you are in real life. If you're a bad or obnoxious driver, so is she; if you have piercings and disputes with your family, so does she. 10) Your character gets to have both Qui-Gon *and* Obi-Wan in the same series. 11) Any relation to the real Star Wars Universe is minimal at best. (Who cares if Ithorians are really those hammer-head looking aliens? You say they're human, hey! They're human.) 12) When Obi-Wan falls in love with your character, it is instant and true love of the sort that will last forever. 13) If the story is set during Obi-Wan's apprenticeship, both he and your character are mischievous troublemakers who constantly require Qui-Gon's discipline. 14) If your character is a Sith, she is Palpatine's daughter or apprentice, and is converted to the Light Side by the power of Obi-Wan's love. 15) Spelling? Grammar? Continuity? Tee-hee!
