Neverlasting A ShantyTown filk by Rossi (Rossi@subreality.com) Yep. another piece from me. This occurred to me on the way home tonight as I was walking through the rain, getting as wet as it's possible to get without actually going swimming. Very angsty. The song is "Everlasting" by the Manic Street Preachers on their album, "This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours" (1998). Rating: PG. Contains Angst. Lets hope the Angst Squad let this one pass: I'm on parole!
The gap our Writers never dreamt. Stopped as thoughts, we've left their minds Replaced by fictives less despised. 'Oh we're old,' I hear you say It doesn't mean that we can't care. I don't believe in Writers anymore We're pathetic scraps of imagination.
